Hiding in Towerwood, Towerwood Borers are similar to the mundane stronghold Silverfish, moving in groups and swarming the player to attack. These little critters, like their Silverfish counterpart, like to hide in Infested Towerwood, and breaking these blocks will spawn one of these. Hurting another Towerwood Borer will also summon other Towerwood Borers from their block burrows and swarm in on the adventurer.
Killing a Towerwood Borer yields Borer Essence.
