Client installation and requirements[edit]

  1. Back up your saves!
  2. Download and run the Minecraft Forge installer, making sure it is the latest version.
  3. Download this mod's jar file and put it in the mods folder in your Minecraft directory.

Server installation and requirements[edit]

  1. Back up the world!
  2. Download and run the Minecraft Forge installer, making sure it is the latest version.
  3. Start the server at least once to let it generate all the files and directories it needs.
  4. Download this mod's jar file and put it in the server's mods folder.
  5. Start the server. Make sure the Twilight Forest mod logs that it loaded when you start the server.


External Mod Interaction[edit]

The Twilight Forest can be played standalone, however there are other mods that can be installed to further enhance playing experience, or expand on another mod mechanic. The following mods have an interaction with Twilight Forest.

Baubles[edit]

When Baubles is installed with Twilight Forest, the Charm of Life and Charm of Keeping items will become usable as Baubles. These can be added to any Bauble slot.

Chisel[edit]

When Chisel is installed with Twilight Forest, certain blocks will have a list of blocks to chisel into. This makes it so that some blocks can be used for construction, or even making certain blocks renewable, albeit inadvertently.

ConnectedTexturesMod[edit]

Certain textures implemented by the Twilight Forest have special handling which is done with Connected Textures Mod. This makes certain textures connect to other blocks or glow in the dark.
