Trollsteinn is a purple-speckled rock found in Troll Caves. The observant will notice that the sides of the block change color at the same light level threshold that is used to determine monster spawns.
Light purple speckles mean that the surrounding area is bright enough that no normal monsters will spawn. Dark purple speckles mean that it is dark enough nearby to spawn monsters.
