Throughout various dungeons in the Twilight Forest, there are books with various new Enchantments. Though these cannot be obtained through the Enchanting Table, they can be applied through the Anvil, so choose wisely the equipment the enchantments can be applied to.

Fire React

Fire React is an armor enchantment added by the Twilight Forest. The enchantment has a chance to set fire to enemies that attack a player wearing armor imbued with it.

While wearing any piece of armor with Fire React, the wearer has a (level) × 15% chance of setting the attacker on fire for 2-8 seconds, where the level is the Enchantment's level. Attackers that are fire immune are unaffected.

Fire React can only be found in the Labyrinth chests.

This enchantment is incompatible with Chill Aura and Thorns, and any equipment with these enchants cannot be enchanted with Fire React.

Chill Aura

Chill Aura is an armor enchantment added by the Twilight Forest. The enchantment has a chance to apply the Frosted effect to attackers.

While wearing any piece of armour with Chill Aura, the wearer has a (level) × 15% chance of applying Frosted, where the level is the Enchantment's level. The amplifier for the effect is determined by the level of the equipment minus one level. For example, if the enchantment level is I, then the amplifier is set to 0 - base value. Attackers that are immune to freezing damage or are wearing equipment that prevents freezing are unaffected.

Chill Aura can only be found in the Aurora Palace chests.

This enchantment is incompatible with Fire React and Thorns, and any equipment with these enchants cannot be enchanted with Chill Aura.

Destruction

Destruction is a Block and Chain enchantment added by the Twilight Forest. The enchantment affects how the Block and Chain affects block destruction.

When applied to the Block and Chain, the weapon also becomes a tool for breaking blocks. The strength of blocks it can destroy is affected by the level of the Enchantment, where the first level is Wood tier, followed by the second level at Stone tier, and any enchantments higher than that being Iron level - because of this, any level higher than 3 will have no effect. However, if the user is affected by Mining Fatigue, the enchant will not apply.

Destruction can only be found in the Goblin Knight Stronghold chests.

Preservation

Preservation is a Block and Chain enchantment added by the Twilight Forest. The enchantment affects the Block and Chain's ability to mine blocks, disabling it for use in combat only.

When applied to the Block and Chain, the weapon becomes just a tool for combat, disabling the block breaking ability. This can be useful in cases where block destruction may occur and drain the durability involuntarily.

Destruction can only be found in the Goblin Knight Stronghold chests.

This enchantment is incompatible with Destruction and Block Strength, and any equipment with these enchants cannot be enchanted with Preservation.

This enchantment was removed as of 4.2.1468, as the default behavior of Block and Chain meant that this enchant was made redundant.

Block Strength

Block Strength is a Block and Chain enchantment added by the Twilight Forest. The enchantment affects the Block and Chain's strength in breaking blocks, allowing for higher harvest levels.

When applied to the Block and Chain, the weapon's ability to mine stronger blocks is increased, where higher enchantment levels allows for higher harvest levels.

Block Strength can only be found in the Goblin Knight Stronghold chests.

This enchantment is incompatible with Destruction and Preservation, and any equipment with these enchants cannot be enchanted with Block Strength.

This enchantment was removed as of 4.2.1468, as the mining level was consolidated into the Destruction enchantment.
