Deeper into the Dark Forest is the Dark Forest Center, where the leaves turn red and the grass is a pale yellow. Are the trees under the effect of a magical autumn, or is it the influence of the colossal tower that stands at its heart? In the center of this biome stands the Dark Tower, an ominous structure stretching into the clouds with strange devices and puzzles. This biome is identical to the Dark Forest, as it spawns similar monsters such as King Spiders and Mist Wolves.
Progression
Although defeating the Twilight Lich seems to remove the magical darkness that clouds the outer forest, the center is still cloaked in ribbons of dark magic. This will only be removed when the player defeats the Knight Phantoms in their strongholds under the trees. Doing so will also unlock the Dark Tower itself by allowing interaction with the entrances.
