The Dense Twilight Forest biome is hillier and more thickly forested than the normal Twilight Forest biome. In some ways this biome is analogous to the Jungle in the Overworld, with bushes and other ground vegetation make it more difficult to navigate. Ferns outnumber any other type of ground cover in this biome, while the water is significantly darker than elsewhere in the forest. The common Giant Oak Tree can be found as usual here, while Hollow Hills and Naga Courtyards may also be spotted nestled amongst the foliage.
The Dense Twilight Forest is unaffected by any protection spells and can be freely explored without having to defeat any bosses in the dimension.
