The Diamond Minotaur Axe is a unique axe that is dropped when the Minoshroom is killed. The Diamond Minotaur Axe is unique in that it has extra charge damage, meaning that when it is used while the player is sprinting, extra damage will be dealt to whatever monster it attacks.
The Diamond Minotaur Axe has an attack speed of 1. In normal use it deals 10 health (
) of damage, making it slightly stronger than a Diamond Axe. When the Diamond Minotaur Axe is used while sprinting, 17 health (
) of damage is dealt. As a critical hit with the Diamond Minotaur Axe will only deal 15 damage, using the charging attack is more effective for damage. This makes the Diamond Minotaur Axe have the second-highest damage per hit potential, behind the Glass Sword, although it will deal less lifetime damage than a Diamond Sword due to the nature of being an axe and taking two durability points whenever it damages a mob. It can be repaired in an anvil with a diamond or another Diamond Minotaur Axe, and can take the same enchantments as vanilla axes such as Sharpness or Smite.
