The Firefly is a block similar in appearance to the Cicada in shape, and Moonworm in illuminating light. Fireflies are a common block in the Twilight Forest. They occur naturally on the trunks of Twilight Oak Trees, Mangrove Trees, Canopy Trees, and in Hedge Mazes. Additionally, you can sometimes find Fireflies as treasure in various chests around the Twilight Forest. Fireflies can also be used to make a Firefly Jar or as a source of Glowstone. A Firefly can be worn in the Helmet slot, though it does not emit light. Once the player takes damage with a Firefly equipped, it dies and turns into glowstone dust.
