External Mod Interaction[edit]

The Twilight Forest can be played standalone, however there are other mods that can be installed to further enhance playing experience, or expand on another mod mechanic. The following mods have an interaction with Twilight Forest.

Baubles[edit]

When Baubles is installed with Twilight Forest, the Charm of Life and Charm of Keeping items will become usable as Baubles. These can be added to any Bauble slot.

Baubles is not required, but is an optional addition.

Chisel[edit]

See also: Chisel Integration

When Chisel is installed with Twilight Forest, certain blocks will have a list of blocks to chisel into. This makes it so that some blocks can be used for construction, or even making certain blocks renewable, albeit inadvertently.

Chisel is not required, but is an optional addition.

ConnectedTexturesMod[edit]

Certain textures implemented by the Twilight Forest have special handling which is done with Connected Textures Mod. This makes certain textures connect to other blocks or glow in the dark.

ConnectedTexturesMod is not required, but it can be used to enhance the quality of textures. Twilight Forest requires that the mod must be version 3.2.18 or above.

Immersive Engineering[edit]

See also: Immersive Engineering Integration

When Immersive Engineering is installed with Twilight Forest, new items and "Shaders" are added into the game. Along with new additions, Cicadas can also be used for ammunition.

Immersive Engineering is not required, but is an optional addition. Twilight Forest requires that the mod must be version 0.12-83 or above.

Just Enough Items[edit]

When Just Enough Items is installed with Twilight Forest, all recipes regarding the Twilight Forest will be visible. Along with this, the Uncrafting Table is treated similarly to a Crafting Table, so items can be transferred to an Uncrafting Table via the Crafting recipes menu.

Just Enough Items is not required, but is an optional addition.

Shield Parry[edit]

When Shield Parry is installed with Twilight Forest, the Configuration options for shield parrying Twilight Forest projectiles is overridden. This means that all shield parrying tweaks are made in Shield Parry's configuration, and affects all projectiles, instead of only Twilight Forest projectiles.

Shield Parry is not required, but helps to improve on a Twilight Forest-exclusive feature.

Thaumcraft[edit]

See also: Thaumcraft Integration

When Thaumcraft is installed with Twilight Forest, all items added by the Twilight Forest will gain Aspects. Along with this, all Boss Trophies will become usable as Infusion Stabilizers, similar to how a regular mob head does.

Thaumcraft is not required, but is an optional addition.

Tinkers' Construct[edit]

See also: Tinkers' Construct Integration

When Tinkers' Construct is installed, an array of new materials are added. These include Fiery, Knightly, Steeleaf, Naga Scale, and Raven Feather. Along with this, a Bucket of Fiery Essence is added, though obtaining one is currently unknown.

Tinkers' Construct is not required, but is an optional addition.
