The Oak Savannah is an open, grassy plain like biome, found apparently at random throughout the Twilight Forest. Possibly due to a quirk of local climactic conditions, the area is drier, with far fewer trees found here - no Canopy Trees grow here with only Oak Trees to be found, along with the occasional Giant Oak Trees rising up from the plains.
As this biome is much more sparsely forested, the open space makes it ideal for setting up a temporary or permanent base of operations, without the need for extensive clearing of the normally dense forest. Special landmarks are also easy to spot, with Hollow Hills, Naga Courtyards and Hedge Mazes having been observed in these biomes. Lich Towers can also be found here, albeit rarely.
No magical barriers have been encountered here, allowing explorers free reign across this biome without danger.
