Unstable Ice Cores are hostile that spawn naturally in the Aurora Palace and are a variant of the Stable Ice Core.
They peacefully float in place until they detect a player, and then aggressively rush towards them. Upon death, they expand and contract for a few seconds, then explode. The explosion destroys blocks in a small radius and transforms them into Terracotta or Glass of similar color to the block in a larger radius.
They drop snowballs upon death, but only drop experience orbs after exploding.
