Armor Shard is an item used to create Knightmetal Ingots. Armor Shards are dropped from slain Block and Chain Goblins, Goblin Knights and Helmet Crabs, as well as loot from Goblin Knight Strongholds. Before Armor Shards can be crafted into Knightmetal Ingots, one must first assemble 9 shards into an Armor Shard Cluster, which yields a Knightmetal Ingot when smelted.
