Emperor's Cloth is a special item found in Hedge Mazes that can make your armor invisible.
Obtaining
Emperor's Cloth can be obtained from the Hedge Maze. It can be found whenever a second chest generates in a specific area of the maze. Due to the nature of its texture, it may be hard to spot when it does.
Usage
To Shroud a piece of armor with the Emperor's Cloth, combine it and a piece of armor in a Crafting or Smithing Table. No template or extra steps are necessary.
The Emperor's Cloth can be applied to armor to prevent it from rendering on the player, adding the "Shrouded" tooltip on the applied to piece of armor. Whenever an armor piece is Shrouded, it also counts as wearing no armor for the mob detection range. This means that Invisibility will be just as effective as if wearing no armor if it is Shrouded.
Note: If the armor from another mod does not work properly with the Emperor's Cloth, it is either not tagged properly or uses a custom armor render layer which is not currently supported. Please let us know by making an issue on our issue tracker if any armors do not work. We will look into it.
To Unshroud a piece of armor, one can act as though it were dyed and dip it into a Cauldron, dropping the water level by 1, and cleansing the armor. Dipping a Shrouded armor piece into a water-filled Cauldron will remove the Shrouded
tag, and remove the armor piece's invisibility, allowing for it to render on the player once again.
You will not recieve an Emperor's Cloth upon Unshrouding an armor piece.
