The Emperor's Cloth is a special item that is near invisible when looked upon, exposing only it's translucent outline, alone giving off a ghostly appearance. It is not clear who this Emperor was, nor why his cloak is available to adventurers to find.

Usage

To Shroud a piece of armor with the Emperor's Cloth, one may combine it and the desire armor piece into a Crafting or Smithing Table - No template or extra steps are need.

The Emperor's Cloth can be applied to armor to prevent it from rendering on the player, adding a tooltip onto the applied piece of armor as "Shrouded." Whenever an armor piece is Shrouded, it will hide itself from all entities' sight. This makes invisibity much more viable, as the Shrouded armor will not appear when using the effect. This means having invisibility with said armor will make you fully invisible to all mobs.

Note: If a modded armor piece does not work properly with the Emperor's Cloth, it is either not tagged properly or uses a custom armor render layer which cannot be supporting currently. Please let us know if any armors do not work and we will look into it.

Emperor's Cloth

To Unshroud a piece of armor, one can act as though it were dyed and dip it into a Cauldron, dropping the water level by 1, and cleansing the armor. Dipping a Shrouded armor piece into a water-filled Cauldron will remove the Shrouded tag, and remove the armor piece's invisibility, allowing for it to render on the player once again.

You will not recieve an Emperor's Cloth upon Unshrouding an armor piece.

Obtaining

Emperor's Cloth can be obtained from the many Hedge Mazes scattered across the world, hidden away in a rare set of chests. It can be quite difficult to find this cloth if an adventurer simply skims through the chest's loot, but a keen eye will recognise when they have found it by the various fabrics within the chest.
