The Firefly is a block similar in appearance to the Cicada in shape, and Moonworm in illuminating light. Fireflies are a common block in the Twilight Forest. They occur naturally on the trunks of Twilight Oaks, Mangroves, Canopy Trees, and in Hedge Mazes. Additionally, you can sometimes find Fireflies as treasure in some of the various chests around the Twilight Forest. Fireflies can also be used to make a Firefly Jar. A Firefly can be worn in the Helm slot, though it does not emit light. Once the player takes damage with a Firefly equipped, it dies and turns into glowstone dust.
