The Mushroom Forest is an interesting variation to the standard Twilight Forest biome conditions seen across the dimension. It is here that huge Mushroom Canopies can be found, amongst the prevalent growth of Canopy Trees, providing a splash of colour as well as a rough and ready food source of edible mushrooms, much in the same as way Huge Mushrooms do in the Overworld.
Like other areas of the Twilight Forest such as the Firefly Forest, these groves can cover a wide area. Structures such as Hollow Hills, Hedge Mazes, Naga Courtyards and Lich Towers have been observed in these biomes.
Although magic is suspected as the reason for the growth of such large specimens of fungi, no barriers to exploration have been seen in these biomes, allowing free passage to adventurers without restriction.
