The Cicada Jar is a glass jar with a cicada inside which produces noise and note block particles when placed. It can be crafted by combining a Cicada and a Glass Bottle in a crafting bench. Cicada Jars, like their Firefly cousins, can be seen decorating Firefly Forests, but at a much rarer rate.
By crouching and right-clicking this Jar, you can set the Cicada free, providing you both a Cicada and a Glass Bottle.
