The final plateau is an unfinished area and also the site of a final boss battle. Currently, there is only a sign that states, "Final boss here. You win!"

As of Version 2.3.7, no monsters naturally spawn on the final plateau. The final plateau appears as a large flat stone area with a massive castle atop it, with dozens of spires piercing the clouds. The area does need to be lit as there are no natural light sources within the castle.

The Final Plateau is a tall, bare biome. Where almost all biomes in the Twilight Forest contain all kinds of foliage, the Final Plateau is completely bare of vegetation barring some Thorns from the neighboring Thornlands. Instead, the surface of the biome consists of a stony block called Deadrock, and no other natural features generate. Aside from the odd Raven, no mobs naturally spawn in the biome.

Progression[edit]

The Final Plateau is locked by Progression, creating a constant downpour of acid rain that chips away at the player's health. It is not possible to shelter from the effect.

In order to unlock the Final Plateau, a Lamp of Cinders must be acquired from the vault in the Troll Caves, dispelling the rain and assisting in the traversal of the thorny barrier.
