The Mason Jar is an upcoming glass jar that acts as an additive to the other jar variants, replacing glass bottles within it's respective recipes. Instead of being a source of light, audio, or particles, these jars allow a unique new way to showcase any item that stored within it. This even includes a jar filled with another jar, filled with another jar, filled with another jar, filled with another jar, filled with another jar! Whenever broken, Mason Jars will always keep all of their stored items, even if they contain an infinite number of other Mason Jars.
Obtaining[edit]
Mason Jars are currently only available by crafting them in the crafting grid, but can also be obtained by Crouching and Right-Clicking a Firefly Jar or Cicada Jar.
Crafting[edit]
Usage[edit]
Mason Jars are primarily used in crafting recipes, but are also usable as a decorative item showcase! By Right-Clicking any item in hand, an empty Mason Jar will add the item into it's display case! However, if the jar is currently occupied, or if there is no item in hand, the Mason Jar will do wobble and play a sound to indicate it's inability to take in anything.
Whenever an item or block is placed within a Mason Jar that has a light source, it will replicate that light source, so long as it is the very first item within the jar.
