Encased Fire Jets are identical to Fire Jets, but can only function when turned on with a Redstone signal. These blocks are great for traps, burning anything that is in reach of the trap. These blocks emit a stream of fire like the Fire Jets, but it has a warm-up time and needs to be reactivated once the trap is used.
Unlike the naturally generating variant, Encased Fire Jets do not need lava to be placed underneath them to function, likely because the lava is already included in their crafting recipe.
