Skull Chest is a block that is converted from a Keepsake Casket. It appears as a large skull that opens up like a mouth, and opening it reveals 5 rows of 9 slots, a total of 49 item slots. As the Skull Chest is the result of a broken Keepsake Casket, the item preservation property is no longer kept, transforming into a decorative item storage block.
The Skull Chest can be logged by Water or Lava. If the fluid it is logged by is affected by the other fluid, it will log the Skull Chest in a block. If the Skull Chest is logged by Lava, it will be logged by Obsidian if Water is applied, or it will be logged by Basalt if the neighboring block is Blue Ice. Otherwise, if the Skull Chest is logged by Water, it will be logged by Stone if Lava is applied. Breaking a Skull Chest logged by a block will also drop the block it was logged in.
