Torchberry Plants are a plant that can be found scattered throughout the Caves and Hollow Hills of the Twilight Forest. When fully grown, a Torchberry Plant will light up a modest area. These plants are a source of Torchberries and can be harvested by breaking the block or by right-clicking with an empty hand. If harvested without breaking the block, a Torchberry Plant will only emit a little light. Using Bonemeal on a Torchberry Plant without berries will replenish the block, allowing it to be harvested for Torchberries again.
If struck by Shears, Torchberry Plants will drop a Torchberry Plant item you can then place yourself. Torchberry Plants can only be attached to the bottom of certain blocks such as dirt or root blocks.
Placing a Torchberry Plant into a Composter has a 50% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
