Roots are blocks that grow almost everywhere in the Twilight Forest. Only the trees native to the Twilight Forest seem to grow these masses of roots beneath them. When naturally generating from trees, Roots can grow through dirt or other replaceable plants, and may even grow through the air if there's a nearby replaceable block. Like most wooden blocks, roots are harvested quickly with axes. They yield 2-5 Sticks when broken without Silk Touch.
Roots may also contain Liveroots and may appear naturally or when a Twilight Forest tree grows.
Placing Roots into a Composter has a 50% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
