Found throughout the Troll Caves, Huge Mushgloom blocks form large growths resembling their smaller cousins. These overgrown fungi glow faintly in the dark with a small amount of light, though adventurers should continue to be on their guard as this light is insufficient to prevent hostile creatures from spawning. To obtain these large glowing blocks, one must use a silk touch tool, ideally an axe of some sorts.

Using Bone Meal on ordinary Mushgloom does not result in giant Mushgloom growth, suggesting that some property of the Troll Caves themselves is responsible for their outsized appearance. Much like their mundane cousins however, smaller mushglooms can be harvested by breaking the huge variant.

Placing a Huge Mushgloom into a Composter has an 85% chance of raising the compost level by 1.
