Keepsake Casket is a special block that is found in the Lich Tower. It bears resemblance to a large skull with a blue, crown-shaped head, and opening it reveals 5 rows of 9 slots, a total of 49 item slots. While it appears to function like a Chest, it has the ability to store the holder's inventory on death.

Over time, the Keepsake Casket will become damaged from use. Every time the Keepsake Casket is used to store items on death, it will have a 15% chance of damaging. First, the Keepsake Casket will be Chipped, then it will become Damaged, before finally turning into a Skull Chest where it will lose the item storage on death ability. It can be repaired with a Charm of Keeping III.

The Keepsake Casket can be logged by Water or Lava. If the fluid it is logged by is affected by the other fluid, it will log the Keepsake Casket in a block. If the Keepsake Casket is logged by Lava, it will be logged by Obsidian if Water is applied, or it will be logged by Basalt if the neighboring block is Blue Ice. Otherwise, if the Keepsake Casket is logged by Water, it will be logged by Stone if Lava is applied. Breaking a Keepsake Casket logged by a block will also drop the block it was logged in.
