Some adventurers have noted a most curious [[Mushroom Castle|landmark]] that towers over the giant fungi. Towering mushrooms, similar in height and appearance as the giant oaks have been found and even more curiously, with walkways and rooms erected between them to form a large fortress like structure. Any reasons as to who is responsible for this, and why, is at best, pure speculation as exploration within the castles have found absolutely no signs of habitation. Many explorers have been grateful nonetheless as the empty rooms and halls allow for a base to be set up for further expeditions elsewhere into the greater Twilight. The Dense Mushroom Forest is a rare sight in the forest, with giant mushrooms and canopy mushrooms almost completely dominating these areas.
