Just beyond the spiny [[Thornlands]] is the '''Final Plateau''', the highest point yet recorded by Twilight Forest explorers. In stark contrast to the rest of the dimension though, there is virtually no vegetation and animals seem to avoid this barren wasteland. Given the trials and tribulations required to finally walk in the shadow of this huge structure, surely there are answers to be found as to the purpose of this place. Why is it here? Why are all the other creatures that hold dominion in the Twilight Forest inexplicably linked to it? Sadly, those few explorers that have made it this far report nothing but vast empty halls of dust, glowing runes, strange force fields barring their way and little else. It will only lift when the [[Hydra]], [[Ur-Ghast]], and [[Snow Queen]] have been defeated. The razor sharp [[Thorns]] are another matter, however. Anyone who wishes to gain access will need to acquire a powerful [[Lamp of Cinders]] in order to burn a path through the thorns in order to reach the summit. | |||
