The Final Plateau, or Highlands Center as it is referred to in-game, is a flat, empty biome above the Highlands beyond the Thornlands. Minor structures such as Stalagmites and Foundations spawn on the land, but the main feature is the Final Castle. While the Final Plateau is bare, sometimes Ravens spawn here if a Monolith generated here.
Progression
If using the Progression system, the biome will be protected by acid rain until the Hydra, Ur-ghast, and Snow Queen are slain. In order to access this biome safely, a Lamp of Cinders will be needed to burn away the thorns in the Thornlands.
