Sometimes, while looting a [[Landmarks#Leaf%20Dungeon|Leaf Dungeon]], one may come across rare saplings. These saplings are much more magical than any other sapling, and once you grow one, they will sprout into mystical trees. Each Magic Tree has its own property, usually emitted from the Magic Tree Cores in the tree. These cores can be turned on or off to enable their respective effect. This magical pickaxe-looking tree is a special tree that can be found as a sapling within a Leaf Dungeon. The '''Miner's Tree''' will pull up different ores from the ground, making it a very valuable tree. This tree will act the same as an [[Ore Magnet]], but will not run out. It should be noted that the tree has a roughly 35 block deep downwards range, meaning that if placed at sea level in the Overworld, it will not pull up ore located near the bedrock layer.

Magic Trees are the product of saplings rarely found in Leaf Dungeons. These trees are unique in that they grow a special kind of block in the middle of the trunk, a Magic Tree Core. The effects of a Magic Tree Core can be toggled, where they will change appearance based on their active state.

However, a Magic Tree can only be functional with the Magic Tree Core. While most of a Magic Tree may be typically harvested, the Magic Tree Core will revert to a regular Magic Tree Log, rendering the function of a Magic Tree useless. Magic Trees will not drop saplings of itself if the leaves are broken down.
