Magic Trees are the product of enchanted saplings that can occasionally be found in Leaf Dungeons. Each of these trees affects the world around it in useful ways via the powerful Tree Core that can be seen in the trunk of the tree. The magical effect can be toggled via this core - it will be lifeless and grey when disabled, and colourful when enabled.
Adventurers are warned that the magical core in these trees is fragile in the extreme, making it impossible to remove or relocate the core. Even if a Silk Touch enchanted tool is used, it will only result in the core shattering into dust, leaving behind an aesthetically interesting but otherwise utterly mundane tree.
Tree of Time
These autumnal trees seem to speed up the flow of time to other plants around it, causing crops and other trees to grow much faster. Adventurers may hear a faint ticking noise while around this tree.
Tree of Transformation
Ghostly grey with enchanted particles raining down underneath the branches, these trees have a ethereal effect on other plants around it, inducing wild colour changes not unlike that found in the magical Enchanted Forest biome. Magical noises may also be heard when in the vicinity of these trees.
Miner's Tree
Appropriately named, these pickaxe-shaped trees are highly prized by adventurers. Its core acts like a magnet, drawing up valuable ores from the earth beneath the tree. It has been noted that this is a very similar function to the rare Ore Magnet artefact - the advantage of a Miner's Tree is that it will pull ores as long as the tree stands, unlike the limited power found in a magnet. The drawback of course, is that the magic tree core cannot be relocated. Additionally, it has a range of approximately 35 blocks downwards, meaning that ores located near the impenetrable bedrock layer may fail to be extracted.
Sorting Tree
These small shrub like tree can be distinguished by its distinctive arrow-shaped leaves. This tree affects chests placed near it by magically sorting the contents, without any intervention from by their owner. The effect appears to only work on mundane wooden chests - items stored in other modded containers such as an Iron Chest will remain unsorted.
