Found within the Caves and Labyrinths of the world, Root Strands are thick plants that grow within the Twilight Forest. Comparable to Weeping Vines, Root Strands are grown by being placed on the bottom of blocks, and can be climbed up and down when grown. Unlike these Nether cousins, Root Strands can only be attached to Dirt Blocks, Roots, and Liveroots, making them limited in what they can grow off of.

Obtaining

Root Strands are obtainable by harvesting them with Shears. If shears are not used, it will instead drop anywhere from 1 to 3 Sticks, unaffected by Fortune. They appear in no other loot tables

Farming

Right Clicking Bonemeal on Root Strands will allow it grow downwards one block, if there is room for it to grow more.

Usage

Root Strands are only used for crafting can also be climbed, allowing for easy vertical transport.
